BREAKFAST/ BRUNCH

●       Southside Coffee House & Cafe - $$  Open for breakfast, lunch, coffee and to-go items, Southside is a casual cafe and coffee bar and their Carneros location is located just minutes from Stahlecker House. The café boasts a chef-driven menu of real California cuisine with a Latin influence, along with specialty coffee from Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters, and beer & wine from friends in the Napa Valley.  www.southsidenapa.com/

 

●       Grace’s Table - $$ Located in downtown Napa this bistro and recognized “Michelin Bib Gourmand” restaurant, serves dishes from around the world. ●       Ad Hoc - $$$ This restaurant located in Yountville is run by Chef Thomas Keller who also owns the very famous 3 Michelin star rated restaurant, The French Laundry. A great place to have brunch with its daily-changing four-course menu. ●       Oxbow Public Market Place - $$   Oxbow Public Market is a great spot to grab a quick bite for lunch or cocktail hour. It has become the local gathering place for great food and wine in downtown Napa. Oxbow marketplace offers 22 eateries and shops and has a scenic outdoor deck with seating along the Napa River. ●       Celadon - $$$ Celadon is known for their award winning ‘Global Comfort Food’. You can dine in the quaint courtyard from a seasonally influenced menu that features flavors from the Mediterranean, Asia, and America. ●       Napa Valley Bistro - $$ With dishes from around the globe guests can choose from traditionally prepared Mexican Empanadas or timeless American favorites like the Lamb Burger and St. Louis Ribs. Other options include Vegetarian Spring Rolls, Chinese Chicken Salad and Seasonal Risotto. ●       Cole’s Chop House - $$$  Located in historic downtown Napa the menu features prime steaks, Black Angus beef, New Zealand lamb, and fresh seafood. ●       Bottega - $$$ Located in Yountville about a 10 minute drive from Napa, Bottega is an Italian restaurant run by Chef Michael Chiarello. The whole vibe is romantic with fireplaces, comfy leather seating and low-lighting. Be sure to make reservations way in advance as it is very popular and does book up.  www.botteganapavalley.com/

 

●       Morimoto Napa - $$$$ The contemporary Japanese and Sushi menu infuses traditional dishes with Western ingredients and preparation techniques. Besides visiting the wineries, there are so many wonderful activities and things to do in the Napa Valley area:

 

●       Ride in a Hot Air Balloon Ride – Balloons Above the Valley. www.balloonrides.com/

 

●       Hop on the Wine Train - There are a few different tours you can take from 1/2 day tours through dinner to full day tours where you stop at many different wineries and have lunch on the train. www.winetrain.com/

 

●       Take a Bike Tour - You can choose to do a guided tour or a self-guided tour. This is a fun way to enjoy the local scenery of the Valley.  www.napavalleybiketours.com/

 

●       SUP or Kayak the Napa River - Rent a kayak or stand-up paddle board or sign up for a guided tour that includes all the instruction you need for a day of fun out on the water. Paddle the restored tidal wetlands and experience Downtown Napa from the river.  www.napavalleypaddle.com/


●      Toast the Sunset -  You do not have to dine at Auberge du Soleil in Rutherford to partake in the fact it has some of the most breathtaking views of Napa Valley. The more casual Auberge Du Soleil Bar & Bistro is located adjacent to the main fine-dining restaurant. It has a small terrace overlooking the valley. ●       Tour the Farmer’s Market – A farmers market that showcases some of the finest farms and most talented artisans in Northern California. Located in the South Napa Century Center (movie theater) parking lot at 195 Gasser Drive, Napa.
